a-game and i had our joint birthday party this weekend. the theme was “winners”. there was:
- food (fancy mac n cheese, sriracha pork sliders with kimchee slaw on mini pretzel buns, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate stout cake, cupcakes, carrot salad, chips and various dips, misc. other delicious things)
- a homemade “birthday of champions” banner
- a huge abundance of drinks
- a cake in the shape of a trophy proclaiming a-game and me as the winners
- a victorious bursting through a paper-towel finish line
- tons of friends
- adorable children (and chess lessons)
- a heated game of koop (sp??) in the back alley
- a stoop party
